I'd like to take the opportunity on this, the one year anniversary of Bomps' death, to share how much she positively inspired me. Her strength, tempered by her femininity and (especially as I grew older - whether that was her changing or me I'm not sure) her sense of humour were attributes I admired. Forthrightness, pride, clarity & a love of surrounding oneself with beautiful things all were also important facets of who she was, and who I strive to be. I am proud and happy that my daughter, Chloe Elisabeth, carries her name & I am sad that they did not meet. I will be sure to try my best to bestow on Chloe (to the best of my ability) these same strengths. xoxoxoBetti! Love Scarlet
